“It’s really strong now.” Vhai said, stopping in someone’s yard. Mirk nodded in agreement. They sniffed around the yard, and Vhai fell into a large hole.
“Are you okay?” Mirk asked, looking down. Vhai hissed and scrambled out.
“What is a large hole doing in someone’s yard?” Vhai asked, staring at it.
“Maybe they have a dog.” Mirk suggested. Vhai shook her head.
“I doubt it.” She replied. She walked around the hole, and continued to sniff. Mirk followed. They went around to the back yard and saw a shadow slip across the back porch, heading for the door. Vhai hissed, following the shadow. The dark blob squeezed itself under the door, and into the house. Vhai stepped back.
“What are we going to do?” Vhai asked.
“I don’t know…How do we get in?” Mirk replied. Vhai hopped off the porch and quickly went over to the side of a house, where a window was open, with a net so bugs couldn’t get in. Vhai grinned.
“Mirk, come here.” Vhai said, looking at Mirk. Mirk ran up to her.
“What?” He asked. Vhai signaled to the window.
“I need you to get the net off.” Vhai explained.
“How am I supposed to do THAT?” Mirk asked, barking slightly.
“Break it. Bite it. Jump at it. Figure something out.” Vhai said, listing things. Mirk sighed, and jumped at the net, biting it. The net slipped off the window easily. Vhai giggled and jumped through the window, and Mirk followed.
